The larger plate, longquan, has an incised lotus design in center and ribbed deep cheek, with turned up, rounded rim. On outside the glaze pools unevenly around the unglazed foot. The cizhou plate has swirling circle design around the edge under the wide brown rim.
Longquan: D. 13 1/4" (33.6 cm), cizhou: 10 1/2" (26.6 cm)
Conditon: longquan plate in good condition overall for age and use, the cizhou plate in good condition but showing signs of age and wear.
